Performing Reassessments

Use

You can repeat an assessment that has been closed for a timeframe. This can be useful if, for example, the object assessed has changed significantly since the assessment was performed. This is the case, for example, if a control has been added to a process.

The procedure described here applies to all types of assessment.

Note Note

You also have the option of triggering a reassessment in the following places:

End of the note.
  • By scheduling an organizational unit with ad hoc start for the task (see Ad Hoc Start of Assessments and Tests )

  • In Customizing for MIC under Start of the navigation path Workflow Next navigation step Administration Programs for MIC Workflows Next navigation step Ad Hoc Start of Assessments/Tests End of the navigation path

Procedure

  1. In the navigation area, select the task that is to be repeated (for example, Control Design Assessment ).

  2. Select the object for which the assessment is to be repeated.

  3. Choose the Reassess pushbutton.

Result

The system creates a new entry for the assessment. The rest of the procedure is now the same as that for an ordinary assessment.
